Job Description:

The Vice President of Pricing will be pivotal in GDIT’s mission to deliver value-driven solutions to government clients. This leader will shape strategic pricing initiatives, oversee the GDIT Pricing organization (including Pricing, PTW, and Competitive Intelligence functions), and partner with capture teams on highly competitive, multi-billion-dollar procurements. This role is responsible for all aspects of cost/price proposal development, including quality and operational oversight. This high-profile position involves close collaboration with division heads and the GDIT Executive Leadership Team and reports directly to the Chief Growth Officer (CGO).

The successful candidate will work closely with the pricing team to enhance cost proposal processes, implement quality control procedures, and conduct peer reviews.

Responsibilities:

Interface with Executive Management and lead pricing teams that collaborate with Business Development, Capture, and Proposal Teams to develop strategic pricing models, address issues, support Pricing Win Strategy, implement solutions, provide guidance, and ensure compliance.Lead teams that engage early with business development and capture teams to shape the financial aspects of opportunities and enhance win probability.Implement best practices and innovative approaches to enhance pricing processes and outcomes.Assess government RFP price evaluation models to determine effective pricing strategies and tactical approaches using key cost/price levers for competitive bids.Work closely with Capture, Contracts, Purchasing, Proposal Development, and Operations to ensure that cost/price proposals are compliant, accurate, competitive, and profitable.Identify and mitigate pricing-related risks to ensure financial stability during execution.Maintain detailed pricing documentation to serve as a reference for future inquiries or audits.Maintain and enhance pricing policies, cost volume development, cost estimating system manual, training, compliance, and audit procedures.Provide input and guidance on future cost structures and strategies that support GDIT’s Strategic Plan.Develop and mentor the pricing team in financial/pricing acumen, leadership, and stewardship that support GDIT’s core values.Foster collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on pricing strategies and objectives.

Successful candidates should demonstrate and have the following to be considered:

15+ years of related experience (7-10 years in a supervisory or management capacity)Bachelor’s Degree requiredStrong ability to build and work in a team environmentDemonstrated ability to act as a trusted financial partner to Executive Leadership across a large business baseProven expertise in developing, leading, and winning large, complex solutions-based bids in the Federal Government services marketExperience with the Federal Acquisition lifecycle and how it integrates with business development and capture processesDeep understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and its impact on opportunity pursuits and proposal evaluationIndustry thought leadership in pricing strategies within federal contracting, including presenting or publishing on relevant topicsProven ability to lead highly effective pricing organizations that have successfully bid and won all contract types (FP, T&M, CR)Strong financial acumen and ability to partner with Business Operations on bid-versus-execution strategiesUnderstanding of emerging technology trends in the Federal Market and how they impact pricing strategiesWorking knowledge of technical and cost estimation processes and the importance of solid estimates in proposed solutionsDemonstrated experience collaborating across functional areas (Ops, BD, Capture, Contracts, Finance, etc.) to deliver competitive, compliant, and profitable bidsAbility to obtain a DoD Secret Security ClearanceUS Citizenship required

The likely salary range for this position is $290,056 - $350,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
