A Day in the Life of a Vice President of Programs and Services\n

As a Vice President of Programs and Services you will oversee the development and operation of programs\/services assigned by the Chief Operating Officer. \n\nEnsure that assigned programs\/services meet certification and regulatory requirements.\nOversee the hiring, development, supervision and evaluation of staff in assigned programs\/services.\nEnsure the development and education of agency policies and procedures to include internal operation manuals. Ensures that policies and procedures are in line with all federal and state laws and regulations.\nParticipate in budget development and actively oversees financials of all assigned\nMaintain working knowledge of state and county initiatives that may impact The Arc Wayne while seeking collaborations and development opportunities.\nWork with the Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer in long-range planning and assists in Agency implementation of policies.\n\n

Who We Are Looking For: \n

You possess excellent communication, organization and problem solving skills. You have strong computer skills and knowledge of Office of People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) regulations and programs, including residential and clinical services. \n

You have a Master's Degree in Health or Human Services or a related filed and three years' experience in a related field and three years of management experience.\n

OR\n

A Bachelor's Degree in Health and Human Services or related field and five years' experience in a related field and three years management experience.\n

You also have a valid New York State driver's license that meets Agency Driver standards.\n

Vice President of Program and Services Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4 pm\n
