THE OPPORTUNITY

As our Vice President of Operations, you will have the unique opportunity to:

Spearhead the deployment of corporate operational strategies, ensuring seamless execution of production processes to surpass annual strategic goals and customer expectations.

Oversee key functions including Production, Maintenance, R&D, Industrialization, Scheduling, Logistics, Warehousing, and Sourcing/Purchasing across our operations in the US and Mexico.

Plan and execute the establishment of a new manufacturing facility in Mexico, showcasing your strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Drive strategic process improvements, standardization, and modularity to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Foster a culture of innovation, developing new products and technologies that align with global market trends and customer needs.

Leverage data from machinery controls to drive process improvements and optimize production outcomes.

Support our growth strategy by participating in the evaluation and integration of potential mergers and acquisitions.

Collaborate with our parent company to align strategies, share best practices, and drive synergies when relevant.



OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE

Our client is seeking an experienced leader in manufacturing operations with proven successes managing complex manufacturing processes, maintaining energy efficiency, ensuring product reliability, and complying with industry standards. 

In summary, you:

Have 10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations in an industrial environment.

Have experience within industries such as refrigeration (commercial, industrial, retail food, cold storage), HVAC, HVAC/r food and beverage equipment manufacturing, cold chain logistics, commercial kitchen equipment, building automation and control systems, energy management systems, industrial and environmental control systems, retail fixtures and displays manufacturing, pharmaceutical and biotechnology equipment manufacturing, or packaging and material handling equipment.

Have strong leadership abilities with a strategic mindset, encouraging innovation, handling change, and driving cross-functional collaboration.

Have excellent interpersonal, communication, and project management skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

Have a proven track record of implementing continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen; Green Belt or Black Belt certification is highly desirable.

Have experience with programs such as SAP, lean manufacturing principles, and Industry 4.0 technologies is a significant advantage.

Have strong team building, mentoring, and collaboration skills.

Are willing to engage in some international travel.
