Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies that align with the company’s vision and business goals.Ability to build and later lead and mentor the sales and marketing teams to achieve performance targets and foster a high-performance culture.Collaborate with other executive leaders to drive cross-functional alignment and support organizational initiatives.Sales Management:Hands-on approach until a team is builtOversee the development and execution of sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets.Establish and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and industry influencers.Customer Experience:Ensure the alignment of sales and marketing strategies with customer needs and expectations.Drive initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.Marketing Oversight:Direct the creation and execution of marketing campaigns and programs to enhance brand visibility, generate leads, and support sales efforts.Oversee market research and competitive analysis to understand customer needs and market dynamics.Manage the company’s digital marketing strategy, including social media and content marketing.Budget and Resource Management:Develop and manage the sales and marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and effective cost management.Monitor and report on the performance of sales and marketing investments, adjusting strategies as needed to maximize ROI.Innovation and Market Positioning:Identify and implement innovative approaches to sales and marketing to stay ahead of industry trends and competitors.Develop and promote the company’s value proposition and differentiators to enhance market positioning.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.Proven experience (5+ years) in sales and marketing leadership roles, with a track record of driving revenue growth and managing high-performing teams.Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles, including digital marketing, branding, and market analysis.
