Join us! **Responsibilities** **:** + Design and develop complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Ensure that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements. + Ensure solutions are well designed with maintainability / ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. + Contribute to story refinement / defining requirements. + Perform spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas. + Code solutions and unit tests to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements. + Develop robust and scalable backend applications including Risk Management, Portfolio Risk, and Climate Risk using the Java and Spring frameworks and utilizing Angular to create dynamic user interfaces. + Utilize Risk Data Sourcing, Marco Economic Variables, and Climate Risk applications to design, optimize, and efficiently write queries. + Design and implement microservices for Risk Management, Portfolio Risk, Climate Risk, and Data Exchange between UI and backend. Implement RESTful APIs for seamless integration by incorporating features including authentication, validation, and error handling for a more robust implementation. + Support collaborative development within Git and TortoiseSVN by tracking changes and managing branches in order to facilitate seamless collaboration through version control and conflict resolution. + Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite. **Required Skills & Experience** **:** + Master's degree or equivalent in Engineering (any), Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related; and + 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation. + Must include 3 years of experience in each of the following: + Developing robust and scalable backend applications including Risk Management, Portfolio Risk, and Climate Risk using the Java and Spring frameworks and utilizing Angular to create dynamic user interfaces; + Utilizing Risk Data Sourcing, Marco Economic Variables, and Climate Risk applications to design, optimize, and efficiently write queries; + Designing and implementing microservices for Risk Management, Portfolio Risk, Climate Risk, and Data Exchange between UI and backend; + Implementing RESTful APIs for seamless integration by incorporating features including authentication, validation, and error handling for a more robust implementation; and, + Supporting collaborative development within Git and TortoiseSVN by tracking changes and managing branches in order to facilitate seamless collaboration through version control and conflict resolution.
