What You’ll Do
As the Vice President Supply Chain & Procurement you will lead the strategic direction of the overall Supply Chain and Procurement functions within Dyno Nobel Americas to deliver value and optimization to the business through one set of numbers, linking sales and sourcing strategies, finance and operations delivering optimum business outcomes, while managing the DNTI (Dyno Nobel Transportation Inc) and the CFC operations of the functions. Other duties include:
Demonstrate Safety Leadership and ensure compliance with all applicable DN HSE Performance Standards, as well as applicable acts and regulations for areas of responsibility P&L accountability for DNTI Steer the strategic direction of the business and demonstrate leadership competencies as a member of the Americas Leadership Team (ALT). Drives profitable revenue growth for DNA through the development of business unit pricing strategy to support product, channel and regional pricing strategies and effective pricing mechanism within the business. Develops Supply Chain and Procurement strategy, solutions and systems that support and deliver company strategy, company performance objectives and customer expectations Governance and strategic direction for market analysis, capacity management, portfolio optimization, pricing and relationship management for Procurement Proactively manage short term and long-term supply/demand balance to meeting business goals while optimizing the DNA footprint Drives profitable revenue growth for DNA through the development of business unit pricing strategy to support product, channel and regional pricing strategies and effective pricing mechanism within the business. Provide Stewardship of corporate/company-wide initiatives and continuous improvement of the overall business through these projects Partner with manufacturing to understand and manage plant capacity, acting to balance customer offtake with production/sourcing for maintenance and profitability. Collaborate with stakeholders on forecasting, supply and offtake during plant maintenance and shutdowns and value chain optimization Oversee and give direction for analysis and reporting on industry trends and data that impact business’ volume, margins, utilization, and market share, supply of forecast and cost models for tendering on new business Minimizes company risk and maintains compliance in area of environment, health, and safety (HSEOE), with a specific focus on compliance. Leads Supply Chain and Procurement Teams Identifies and develops talent across the organization Develops, mentors and assists as required to ensure alignment and engagement of team Leads performance management and development processes across team. Leads external relationships with 3rd party vendors and service providers to ensure optimization of products, service delivery and commercial outcomesWhat We’re Looking For:
Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent, with post graduate Business qualifications or degree preferred. 15 + years experience in commercial and supply chain roles within a large, multi-business unit environment. Proven experience in the implementation and leadership of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) in an international, multi-location manufacturing and operations organization Demonstrated long term relationship management (external), with industry segment and/or P&L accountability Proven negotiation ability with demonstrated capability in leading large sourcing/sales contract negotiations, conflict resolution and long-term relationship management Experience in complex change management projects in a multi location environment Experience in the development and delivery of supply chain optimization, systems and processes Effective communication and influencing skills with both external service providers and key internal stakeholders Strong Commercial Acumen High level of contract management and implementation skills and knowledge Advanced people management skills including leadership, performance management, coaching, mentoring and development to lead a high-performance team Other duties as assignedWhat We Offer:
