Vice President (VP), Market Operations & System Institute
Job Summary The Vice President (VP), Market Operations & System Institute is responsible for the overall operations of all the medical group clinics within the market. The VP ensures organizational integrity, the provision of high-quality, efficient operations, financial results and the development and implementation of a strategic plan that aligns with the organizational mission, vision, values and goals in the ambulatory clinics and partners with facility presidents for acute care operations. The VP provides direction and support to all the Directors/Sr. Directors of Market Institutes within their market and to the Institute Directors for their institute across the system. The VP collaborates with organizational leaders across the system and manages interdependencies across institutes, facilities, submarkets and the medical group and takes ownership and accountability to implement strategic growth, operational precision, service enhancements, safe/quality outcomes, program development and community engagement initiatives to assure institute specific strategic plans are achieved. The VP leads and ensures the NHMG market and system specific operational infrastructure of the institute and medical group will enable execution of key initiatives to meet targeted goals and outcomes. Graduate Degree, preferred. Experience: Progressive supervisory/management experience, required. Two years healthcare setting experience, required. Additional Skills (required): Excellent organization and communication skills. Ability to address difficult circumstances and make tough decisions. Effective presentation skills. Strong skills in time management, prioritizing, delegating, organizing, analyzing data, researching and problem solving. Ability to adhere to fixed deadlines with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities while managing multiple projects. Self-motivated, flexible, proactive and team oriented. Ability to work and manage daily operations using a high involvement, multidisciplinary team concept. Maintain a strong, consistent and professional demeanor at all times. Additional Skills (preferred): Knowledge of healthcare and medical group policies, procedures and regulatory standards. Ability and willingness to work in an evolving healthcare system. Extensive oral and written communication skills.
