Video, Team Lead– Ent Technical
Overview: The Video Team Lead is responsible for managing a crew of technicians/artisans for the safe installation, operation, maintenance and strike of our live shows and events. The Team Lead must possess the technical knowledge to direct the Video crews and must also be able to address personnel issues and escalate to Leadership. **Hourly Rate: $34.75** Responsibilities: + Direct technical crews on the safe and proper operation and maintenance of theatrical video equipment such as televisions, projectors, cameras, media players, media servers, video software, video switchers/routers and network switches. + Possess the ability to read, understand, develop and execute plans and blueprints in order to provide specific guidance to technical crews on the construction, installation, operation, and strike of video equipment. Must also be able to provide general guidance on any other technical equipment (lighting, audio, carpentry, paint, etc.). + Assist leadership in developing department training and safety programs as well as documentation of policies and procedures. Recommends policy and procedure changes for department and/or assigned projects(s) to ensure continued compliance with Company policies while maintaining Associate satisfaction. + Partner with divisional leadership to effectively plan and procure all resources, materials and equipment needed to meet project timelines and to efficiently operate the Video Department. The Team Lead must be financially aware when making decisions. + Manage Video Department resources to complete projects and operate shows consistent with deadlines and within Budget. This includes re-allocating resources between projects to mitigate delays and prevent cost overruns. + Research and recommend tools and equipment to streamline the completion and operation of assigned projects. Troubleshoot and repair a variety of basic issues and equipment during day-to-day operations. + Actively participate in the performance review process and the development of Associates by providing leadership with detailed/documented feedback on crew member performance. Qualifications: + High school diploma / GED required. + Associate's degree / vocational or technical, with an emphasis in Theater preferred. + Valid Driver's License. + At least 2-4 years of related work experience in live shows and events. + At least 1-3 years or prior leadership/supervisory experience. + Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs.
