Video Content Operations Intern

We are seeking rising college seniors who are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree to join an exciting 10-week summer internship experience starting June 9th, 2025. As an early career professional, you will be part of a paid internship program that will include a robust learning and training curriculum, mentorship from employees in your selected field, access to senior leaders, and more. As an intern, you will be assigned challenging projects based on the area of the business you will be supporting. In your role, you will have the opportunity to contribute and make a real impact. 

Candidates must be:

Rising senior graduating in 2026 

Ability to work out of our 1 WTC office on a hybrid basis (4x a week on site) 

Available June 9, 2024 - August 18, 2025

Video Content Operations Intern

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with seasoned video journalists, producers, and other media professionals and gain hands-on professional experience as you own day-to-day tasks, contribute to special projects, and attend departmental meetings. 

Primary Responsibilities:

Assist production crews with content creation, video shoots, and post-production.

Research and brainstorm new content and develop pitches for YT

Be hands-on with our social studio team to support all brands with new social-first content

Work collaboratively with a team and contribute insights.

Help support Creative Strategy in research and data collection for Video Programming Strategy

Develop and maintain Trackers around video production across all brands.

Support Live-Video production and Development for key tentpoles.

 

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

Relevant academic, content development, digital video production, and post-production experience.

Interest digital and social-first content (deep experience as a consumer and ideally some experience or understanding as a  creator on Youtube, Instagram and TikTok)

Experience with a variety of video cameras, include iPhone shooting.

An understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite to do basic functions like importing/exporting footage and assisting producers as needed in communicating feedback to post-production.

Ability to research, and report on trends and insights in regards to digital video across published platforms and emerging platforms.

Sound journalistic judgment and awareness of culture, current events, and trends.

Interest in current events and cultural tentpoles; how audiences engage with them.

Proficiency using Google suite, MacOS, iOS and web-enabled video applications and apps (i.e.CapCut).

Hourly Pay: $25/hr
