Job Summary:
The Video Post Production Manager role is ideal for someone who thrives in both creative and technical environments. Ruggable’s post-production team needs a driven individual who can oversee the entire post workflow—from server maintenance to balancing workloads—while still collaborating on creative edits during peak times.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing the post-production infrastructure and ensuring all assets are delivered on time. You’ll also work closely with the Senior Video Editors to implement workflow improvements and develop standard operating procedures to streamline the post process. You’ll be expected to stay on top of the latest trends and tools, ensuring our team is using the most up-to-date techniques and software.
This role will allow you to flex both your technical and creative muscles, managing technical resources and contractor relationships, while also contributing to video editing during critical periods. You’ll need to work independently as well as within a team, balancing the needs of various departments and stakeholders.
What You’ll Do:
Manage team of video editors and day-to-day video post-production operations Lead reviews for non-campaign and non-promo IGC and organic social to ensure highest quality standard Collaborate with the Project Management team to assign and balance post-production workloads. Ensure capacity planning is sufficient to meet campaign deadlines Track and monitor deliverables to ensure they are completed on time Coordinate with other teams regarding deadlines and project needs Oversee server maintenance, software troubleshooting, and storage solutions (server and cloud) Hire and manage external vendors/contractors, track invoices and budgets Work with the Senior Video Editors to identify and implement process improvements Evaluate the post infrastructure to ensure it’s up-to-date and efficient Stay up-to-date with the latest video trends on TikTok, Meta, and other platforms Lead training sessions on new software, industry trends, and advanced editing techniques Report weekly to Director on team performance, expenses, and infrastructure Develop contingency plans for technical issues (e.g., server crashes) to prevent delays Identify sustainable solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs Step in to handle editing tasks when specific projects require immediate attentionWhat You’ll Need to Have:

Technical Skills
3+ years experience in post-production management, including server and software maintenance Expertise with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and other industry-standard software File management and storage solution experience (e.g., Frame.io, cloud-based systems) Strong technical troubleshooting skillsCreative Skills
10+ years of video editing experience with a strong eye for detail Familiarity with sourcing and managing video content from various platforms (YouTube, Social, Vimeo) A keen sense of how to balance creative vision with technical constraintsSoft Skills
Proven experience managing and leading teams Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to collaborate with various departments and stakeholders Adaptable, flexible, and able to pivot quickly under tight deadlinesPreferred:

$43-52/hr or roughly $7,500 - $9,166 per month
