General Purpose:

Produce, film and edit educational and instructional videos that will be used to support new product launches, and explain technology in a fun and captivating way. Create instructional guides, product reviews, and unboxing videos for PC hardware components, showcasing their features, performance, and compatibility. Perform on-camera hosting duties for both PC building and PC gaming informative content.

Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations:

Execute all filming and editing duties to craft compelling stories and eductational videos. Demonstrate exceptional knowledge and expertise in PC hardware components, building techniques, and troubleshooting to provide valuable insights to viewers. Collaborate with the Marketing and Product teams to script videos, ensuring it aligns with the channel's vision and target audience. Manage the pre-production process including building sets, sourcing props, booking talent, and organizing the filming schedule. Maintain and operate camera equipment, audio devices, lighting setups, and other technical tools to ensure optimal video quality and audio clarity. Generate unique and exciting Thumbnails and Metadata for all video content Engage with the channel's community by responding to comments, addressing questions, and participating in live chats or Q&A sessions. Monitor and analyze video performance metrics, such as views, likes, and audience retention, to identify areas for improvement and optimize content strategy.

Essential Skills and Experience:

Our ideal candidate has an exceptional eye when it comes to product-focused content, proven video capture, and editing skills. Outstanding understanding of Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve required. Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop necessary. Adobe After Effects experience a bonus. You should have exceptional lighting skills and be able to create scenes that that feel as authentic as they are engaging.

For roles that are based at our headquarters in Milpitas, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.  

Annual Salary Range $75,000—$85,000 USD
