Our company is looking to hire a full-time Video Systems Technical Lead to be responsible for creating and developing new solutions and improving existing ones.

**Core Responsibilities**
+ Lead the development and evolution of products, from concept to production.
+ Incorporate the needs of our customers and their pain points into the product development process.
+ Document development and thought process thoroughly.
+ Determine product specifications according to various factors and expected uses.
+ Support manufacturing and design activities by developing prototypes for products as needed.
+ Analyze market research materials and data to ensure that products are viable and competitive.
+ Communicate proposals and designs for evaluation and feedback by the project team and management before moving to the next stage.
+ Coordinate inventory policies and purchasing of related A/V equipment and components as needed.
+ Offer technical support to customers as needed.
+ Assist in the review and testing of technical equipment as required.
**Education/Experience:**
_Required:_
+ 4-year degree in an engineering/technology related field or equivalent experience
+ Demonstrated passion for learning and technology
+ Proven reliable and accountable team member
+ Effective written and verbal communication skills
+ High level of attention to detail & organizational skills
+ Comfortable working with basic hand tools
_Preferred:_
+ Competency using computers & technology for a variety of tasks including Microsoft/Google applications; such as Word/Docs, Excel/Sheets, and PowerPoint/Slides
+ Successful experience in a development role
+ Engineering and design knowledge
+ Familiarity with R&D processes
+ Portfolio of solutions in previous work or hobbies
+ Substantial experience or interest in cameras, video, audio, or computer equipment
+ Knowledge or interest in continuous improvement
**Travel:** Up to 15%
**Location:** Farley/Dubuque, IA.
**Reports to:** President

We have a talented team with diverse knowledge and decades of experience in video systems, product development, engineering, manufacturing, and customer insight. The successful candidate in this role will likely be an inventor listed on future patent applications.
