Cambridge International Systems, Inc. has a full-time Video Teleconferencing Technician opportunity available based in Rockville, MD. ROLE RESPONSIBILTIES + The T&V Specialist shall have skilled knowledge and ability in providing technical solutions and support to enterprise class Telecommunications and Video environments with heterogeneous operating system platforms interacting with multiple applications and services. + Services required to support large-scale, diverse environments require extensive knowledge and expertise in Telecommunications and Video architecture and implementation. + Telecommunications and Video includes Web Collaboration (Teams and Zoom), Video Teleconferencing, Web Casting and Telecommunications at a minimum the Telecommunications and Video Support (T&V Engineer and T&V Technical Support). Required QUALIFICATIONS + Minimum 2+ years demonstrated full-time experience troubleshooting current and previous Microsoft workstation operating system(s). + 2+ years demonstrated experience supporting client configuration, administration and network access in Telecommunications and Video environments. + Experience with Crestron switches, Biamp DSPs, SoundControl Technologies, and basic LAN skills Extensive application support experience and knowledge of Teleconferencing and Collaborating Tools such as MS Teams and Zoom. + Exceptional written and oral communication skills + Proven ability to work as part of a team as well as show initiative and ability to work independently + Hands of customer support experience, including white-glove executive support + Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport building, listening, and questioning skills + Strong documentation skills + Live Event production experience a plus but not required + Demonstrated experience in evaluating and testing current and new software/hardware technology + Experience with Telecommunications Equipment to include Poly, Cisco, Avaya hardware and software (Ex: Poly Group series Codec experience, Poly x 50 and x70, Poly Studio USB) a plus. College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science or 5+ years equivalent work experience. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS + In rare occasions, overnight travel may be required. PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT AND WORKING CONDITIONS Cambridge International Systems complies with Temporary Duty Station (TDY)/Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) vaccination requirements.  If this position requires OCONUS travel (listed above), Vaccine Recommendations by AOR | Health.mil lists applicable current vaccination requirements by location.
