Responsibilities As part of the Creative Services Studio, the In-House Videographer at Page is pivotal in visually capturing and showcasing our projects, innovations, and expertise. This creative professional produces high-quality video content highlighting the firm’s architectural and engineering endeavors, contributing to our brand’s visibility and reputation while closely collaborating with our Marketing, Communications, and Storytelling teams. Video Production: Plan, shoot, and edit videos to maintain the highest production standards. Utilize industry-standard equipment and software to ensure the best visual and audio quality. Storytelling through Video: Transform technical concepts and complex designs into compelling and engaging visual narratives. Partner with the Storytelling Team to develop storyboards and scripts to effectively convey the firm’s vision and mission through video content. Interviews and Testimonials: Conduct interviews with project team members, clients, and experts to gather insights and testimonials. Edit and incorporate these interviews into project videos to provide a comprehensive perspective. Event Coverage: Document firm events, conferences, and seminars through videography to create promotional and informative content. Project Documentation: Capture architectural and engineering projects from inception to completion through videography. This includes documenting various phases, design concepts, construction progress, and final outcomes. Drone Videography/Photography: Using drones for aerial footage offers a unique perspective of architectural and engineering projects. Ensure compliance with legal and safety regulations when operating drones. Post-Production: Edit and enhance raw footage, applying color correction, audio adjustments, and special effects as needed. Partner with the Creative Studio to create visually appealing graphics and animations to enhance video content. Content Management: Organize and maintain a library of video assets for easy access and retrieval. Ensure the security and backup of video files to prevent data loss. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, project managers, and marketing teams to align video content with the firm’s branding and marketing strategies. Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends and competitors’ video content. Identify opportunities to innovate and enhance the firm’s video production techniques. Budget Management: Manage the budget for video production projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining high-quality standards. Compliance: Adhere to copyright and licensing regulations when using third-party media assets in videos. Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards in video production. Quality Control: Continuously monitor and review video content to maintain consistency in style, tone, and quality across all projects. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Visual Communication, or a related field. • Proven experience in videography, including shooting, editing, and post-production. • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools. • Knowledge of camera equipment, lighting, and sound recording techniques. • Strong creative and storytelling skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. • Excellent time management and organizational skills. • Knowledge of architectural and engineering terminology and concepts is a plus. ***Please upload your portfolio when submitting your information to apply for this position*** The In-House Videographer is an essential member of our firm, helping us showcase our innovative designs and engineering solutions to the world through the power of visual storytelling.
