Position Overview:
As Videographer, you'll be responsible for capturing high-quality video content for a range of projects, including commercials, social media videos, brand content, and corporate communications. You’ll work closely with the creative team to execute video concepts from pre-production through to post-production, ensuring the final product is visually stunning and aligned with client goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Filming: Capture high-quality video content across various formats, including interviews, promotional videos, events, and branded content. Ensure proper lighting, framing, and audio quality for every shoot.
Pre-production: Collaborate with the creative team to plan shoots, create shot lists, and assist with script development and storyboarding. Coordinate logistics, such as locations, talent, and equipment.
Post-production: Edit and assemble footage into polished, engaging video content, ensuring the final product meets quality standards and project specifications. Add music, sound effects, graphics, and color correction as needed.
Creative Input: Provide creative input during brainstorming sessions, contributing ideas for video content that aligns with client needs and brand messaging.
Collaboration: Work with other team members to ensure smooth production processes and meet project deadlines.
Equipment Management: Maintain and manage video production equipment, ensuring everything is in working order and ready for use on set.
Stay Current: Keep up to date with trends in videography, video editing techniques, and emerging technologies to continuously improve video production quality.
Qualifications:
2-4 years of experience in videography, with a portfolio demonstrating a strong range of video production skills. Experience in still photography is a plus.
Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
Strong understanding of video production techniques, including lighting, camera operation, audio capture, and post-production processes.
Experience with DSLR and cinema cameras, as well as stabilizing equipment like gimbals or drones.
Knowledge of video formats and codecs, as well as file management for high-volume video content.
Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, on tight deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for composition, color, and storytelling.
Good communication skills, with the ability to take creative direction and work collaboratively with clients and colleagues.
Preferred Qualifications:
Basic still photography skills for photographing events, headshots, etc.
Experience with motion graphics or animation (After Effects, Motion, etc.).
Familiarity with lighting for various types of shoots (studio, natural, outdoor, etc.).
Basic knowledge of sound design and audio editing.
Experience with live streaming or event videography is a plus.
Knowledge of basic graphic design and visual effects (e.g., using Photoshop or Illustrator) is a bonus.
