We are looking for a skilled and versatile Videographer and Editor to join our Creative Studio based in San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in videography and video editing, particularly within technology or life sciences companies. This role is crucial for developing and producing high-quality video content that aligns with our brand and marketing goals.

 

Job Responsibilities

Conceptualize, shoot, and edit video content for a variety of platforms, including digital marketing materials, social media, company website, and promotional campaigns.Ensure all video content aligns with the company’s branding guidelines and contributes to a cohesive brand identity.Collaborate with marketing, product design, and commercial teams to develop video content that supports new product launches, features, and evergreen communications.Work with our Video Lead and Creative Director for video projects, ensuring high production values and storytelling quality.Manage video projects from pre-production to post-production, including storyboarding, scripting, shooting, editing, and final delivery.Ensure efficient workflow and project timelines, meeting all deadlines and quality standards.Foster strong working relationships with team members and cross-functional partners.Share ideas and receive feedback from business partners and stakeholders through presentations and written communication.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in film, Video Production, or equivalent professional experience.5+ years of relevant experience in videography and video editing.Your portfolio showcases high-quality video production and editing skills.You’re proficient with large format video cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, and Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop).You have hands-on experience with video storytelling and post-production processes.You communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.You’re able to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.Your organizational skills and attention to detail are top-notch.You have experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to produce video content that meets strategic goals.You stay current with industry trends and love incorporating innovative techniques into your projects.

The estimated base salary range for the Videographer and Editor role based in the United States of America is: $80,900 - $121,300. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
