Position Summary:

The role of the Data Ambassador is to maximize the use of PR USA data assets, provide recommendations as required to facilitate data quality optimization and lead other data initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to develop a wide variety of hard and soft skills, join a strategic global program whilst working with data experts and cross functional teams on advanced projects.

Main Responsibilities:

Providing data support for each transformation initiative (eg. marketing, sales, finance)Maintain data mapping to show data flows and data ownershipEnsure that data & KPIs are available and accessible to the right stakeholdersIdentify optimizations to decrease level of manual work and improve efficienciesEnforce policies/procedures to promote data consistency and integrity across digital projects & programs (e.g. sell-out dashboard, master data management)Build/maintain consistent data quality monitoring, communicate on issues found and drive synchronizations to fix themAssess business cases for new data sources integration (2nd & 3rd party data), facilitating the discussion & decision across the businessLaunch initiatives to foster a data-driven culture across the organization

About you:

Can speak and write fluent professional English.  You have a strong communication skills.Knowledge and experience in data transformation projects and programms.Can coordinate multiple stakeholders to define needs, batches and deliverables of your projects.Has a logical, analytical & pragmatic mind.Proactive team-player and an autonomous problem solver / a solution finder. You won't stop digging until you find the right solution.

Key Relationships

Reporting to the Director - Data Governance, with a dotted line to the Sr. Manager Data Domain - Customer & Product, the Data Ambassador will be part of a growing Global Data Governance team and will interact with all cross functional teams involved in transformation projects, the key relationships being with:

Project managers across all transformation and data projectsGlobal Data Ambassador Program ManagerLocal Business experts, Data Stewards and A&P ChampionsHQ Data teamsLocal IT team
