Job DescriptionEngineering designs
Preparation of engineering studies, evaluations and technical memos, including the wastewater treatment plants, lift stations, collection systems, and safety related projects.
Develop project concepts, alternatives, scopes, schedules and budgets.
Develop scope of works and track planning, quality and costs of projects.
GIS system projects related to the managed above and below ground assets.
Technical assistance to operating personnel
Provide technical assistance to Collections teams, including troubleshooting, identifying alternatives and solutions for improvements
Coordinate scheduling and managing interface of construction with operations
Coordinate projects with external contractors including vendors, engineering consultants and contractors
Provide inspections and coordinate and oversee construction and performance tests
Ad-hoc analysis & projects
Work closely with management on various topics (operations, workflow process, ...)
Prepare ad-hoc analysis & presentations according to the needs of the time
QualificationsEducational Background:
Civil engineering diploma or an equivalent Masters Degree.
Language
Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
Previous Experience:
At least a one year experience in engineering design , project delivery and control.
Professional experience in a water/wastewater engineering or construction firm or equivalent in the private or public-sector is a plus.
Skills:
PowerPoint and Excel skills, GIS interface and Other tools are a plus, especially AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and Hydraulic modeling Software (SWMM, HecRAS etc.).
Strong technical communication and report-writing in English is required.
