Pernod Ricard Japan, part of the world’s #2 leader in the premium spirits and wine industry, is seeking a Strategic Planning & Consumer Insights Analyst to join our team as we accelerate our growth in Japan.

In this role, you’ll be a pivotal contributor in driving Pernod Ricard Japan's transformation toward a consumer-focused, data-driven strategy. Join us in Tokyo to engage in a hands-on experience with our high-growth brands, influence key decision-making, and collaborate with global teams across multiple divisions.

What You’ll Do:

Strategic Planning (35%)

Track Growth Metrics: Monitor the business's progress against our 3-5 year growth ambitions, identifying performance gaps, opportunities, and risks.Dashboard Development: Collaborate with local BI teams to create dynamic dashboards for better tracking against market trends.Executive Communications: Assist in crafting strategic updates for senior leadership at local, regional, and global levels.Workshop Facilitation: Support strategic workshops to embed and drive our vision with brand and commercial teams.

Consumer Insights (65%)

Brand Equity & Audience Analytics: Monitor brand performance metrics (e.g., brand equity, social listening, and search trends), delivering insights to enhance brand strategies.Consumer & Shopper Insights: Implement tools to evaluate campaign success, identify knowledge gaps, and conduct deeper research when needed.Insight Sharing: Regularly update brand teams on consumer insights and KPIs in quarterly planning sessions, driving data-backed decisions.

Your Profile:Education: University degree in Business or Marketing.Language Skills: Fluent in Japanese and English with strong communication skills.Experience: 6-24 months in marketing, research, or strategic planning (internship experience included).Core Competencies:Analytical Mindset: Sharp analytical skills with a strategic, business-oriented approach.Exceptional Communication: Strong presentation and interpersonal skills in both Japanese and English.Agility & Initiative: Entrepreneurial spirit, adaptability, curiosity, and a passion for results.Why Join Us?
