Responsibilities:
1.Own site's customs and trade facilitation processes, manage site customs procedures to support daily transactions (in accordance with CTF's 3 Core Discipline). Act as first level escalation point for all shipment issues.
2. Support GLO/customs brokers daily interactions, optimize site internal control processes that demonstrate the accuracy of pre-entry customs transactions, establish site duty optimization opportunities, and implement new customs processes.
3. Own the effectiveness and efficiency of site CTF processes, support Country Customs Managers and collaborate with APJ Customs Ops and Regulatory Audit Manager to execute 3 core disciplines on site.
4. Provide site analytical intelligence to develop and publish site CTF metrics and KPIs, recommend and implement CTF improvement programs. Execute site post-entry self-audit and post clearance audit recovery programs such as AEO, DFC, etc.
5. Accountable for managing site license, business approvals and permits (where applicable) applications and work closely with relevant gov't agencies for approvals.
6. Participate and represent APJ CTF (as required) in ITG's internal, or site business unit projects.

Stakeholder Management/Partnership:
1. Represent CTF in internal biz meetings to provide customs and trade facilitation consulting for key stake holders including but not limited to:
- Global Logistics Organization (GLO)
- Global Supply Chain Operations (GSC)
- Research n Design Center (MDC)
- Public Affairs/Government Affairs Group (PA/GGA)
- Legal Team
- Finance Family - Controls, Capital, Operations Finance, General Accounting, Accounts Payable, BnP, Treasury
- ITG peers from other sites and geos
- External gov't agencies / Associations
2. Be treated as a CTF expert and being engaged by site business partners before making decisions on site projects / process enhancement.
3. Be treated as a full business partner in business decisions with group leaders, operation managers, site GM staff level
4. Identifies partners who are not participating actively; encourages them to participate
5. Represent Intel in external meetings with industry peers and local customs operational levels related to operational customs matters and executional customs and trade facilitation conferences.
Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree and 5+ years of relevant experience in trade/customs and trade facilitation or supply chain/logistic compliance, especially AEO, EPE in Vietnam, global or regional exposure.
Experience in leading and implementing regional trade projects is a plus.
Communicate clearly, thoughtfully, and accurately. Able to effectively communicate at different levels. Draft writing documents to avoid errors, ambiguities, and misinterpretation. Presents with confidence.
Able to partner effectively with internal and external stakeholders including regional and global team members, government officers in a highly dynamic, sometimes ambiguous environment.
Facilitate decision-making for projects and transactions impacting Viet Nam's customs compliance. Able to escalate relevant customs issues to leadership team or other key stakeholders.
