VIP Experience HostessPOSITION: VIP Experience Host/HostessDEPARTMENT: PremiumREPORTS TO: Premium Seating & Experience ManagerFLSA STATUS: Part-time Hourly, Non-ExemptSUMMARYASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a VIP Experience Host with ASM Global/Boeing Center at Tech Port. The VIP Experience Hosts will provide premium professional client services, hospitality, and support in the organization and management of events within the facility, while interacting with Premium clients, facility staff and related personnel to assure all event needs are fulfilled. They will also be responsible for all upgrades and all ancillary transactions at concerts and events.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAbility to adapt easily to the requirements and guidelines of the organizationResponsible handling of credit cards is vitalPossess pleasant personality with an enthusiastic and professional attitudeAbility to work flawlessly and effortlessly under stress and pressureExperience in a customer service, sales, or fine dining roleExcellent communication and decision-making skillsAbility to work in areas with loud noises and crowdsSelf-motivated and accountable, able to work independently and as part of a teamMust be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidaysWelcome VIP members and guests and memorize their namesProvide excellent service to all members and Premium guestsAlways be willing to help Premium members and guests with any questions or needsBuild and maintain constructive relationships and proactively anticipate guests' or members' needsPitch, sell and collect payment from guests for upgradesMaintain appearance and dress according to established guidelinesPromote venue and membership programAll assigned data collection, marketing, and social media tasks must be completed per management's requests (i.e. line engagement social media contests)Maintains the general cleanliness and orderliness of all Premium areasMaintain table reservation and guest list minimums set by ManagementEnsures guests are aware of events and supports the execution of themAssists with side-work and other opening/closing procedures as directed by managementReports all breakage, damage of equipment or furniture immediately to managementParticipates in any training sessions or departmental meetingsContribute to VIP satisfaction and retentionWorks as part of a team and provides help and support to all fellow team membersPossess very strong interpersonal relationship and skillsSales or hospitality experience will be added advantagePossess excellent writing, verbal, and public speaking skillsPerfect time management skills to ensure services to Premium clients are never delayedDeal with complaints made by members and guests in efficient mannerEnsure VIP clients enjoy themselves throughout their visit to the Boeing Center at Tech PortAct as usher for VIP clients to and from their seatsGet adequately informed about facilities inside the CenterLiaise with the supervisor and provide detailed report about events and activities at the end of their shiftProvide clients with personal attention to ensure they have the best of the amenities and satisfactions the organization has to offerEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCEHospitality experienceExperience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge preferredMust be 21+ with reliable transportationBi-lingual candidates encouraged to applyPrevious host or sales experience are a major plusSKILLS AND ABILITIESMinimum 21 years of age.Strong orientation to customer service and ability to work with other staff members in the facility.Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks.Attention to detail and service oriented.Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision.Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers.Ability to work in both inside and outside environmental conditions.Maintain an effective working relationship with clients, employees, exhibitors, guests, and others encountered in the course of employment.Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form.Remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur.WORKING CONDITIONSMay be required to work additional hours as dictated by the workload and staffingMust be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidaysPHYSICAL DEMANDSRequires moderate physical efforts.
