THE JOB:
As an Assistant Manager for our VIP Lounge and Butler Services, you are an essential part of guest experience. Your commitment to ensuring efficient daily operations, and dedication to promptly resolve guest concerns, fosters a welcoming atmosphere for guests that lays the foundation for unforgettable memories that guests can carry with them well past their stay with us.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Oversee all department operations in the absence of director or department head
Respond to guest service interactions in a professional and timely manner, achieving positive resolutions
Foster a collaborative team environment, ensuring superior guest experience
Oversee the obtainment of top talent, training, and succession planning processes that promote organizational commitment to diversity
Ensure department standards for correct charging, postings, collecting payments, handling cash and credit transactions, and balancing of all cash and cash equivalent transactions
Enforce the maintenance, and proper utilization of hotel property and equipment
Supervise VIP Representatives work performance and apply progressive discipline when appropriate
Process payroll for VIP staff, monitor attendance reports, and conduct supply orders as needed
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
Currently holds a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent educational experience
Prior work experience in VIP Services, Front Desk, Guest Experience and/or Concierge in a resort setting
Has previous leadership experience in procurement, managing payroll, delegation, disciplining, hiring, and developing talent
Prior working experience with collective bargaining agreements (CBA)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as a professional appearance and demeanor
Highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously
Proficient in navigating and utilizing various software platforms including Amadeus/HotSOS, Opera, Oracle and Microsoft Office, effectively
Excels under pressure and maintains high performance in demanding situations
Has a flexible schedule including the ability to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
