Summary
We are currently looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to partner with our team of nurses caring for patient's requiring treatment of side effects, symptom management or undergoing chemotherapy. From Moffitt's Command Center located on campus, our nursing staff provides knowledgeable and skilled care within a unique interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:
Virtual Monitoring and Support
ASSESSMENT:
• Utilize telehealth platforms and virtual communication tools to
conduct remote patient assessments and follow-ups, adhering to
established clinical protocols and standards of practice.
• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status within
the nursing scope of practice including but not limited to medical
history review, vital signs monitoring, and symptom evaluation
remotely.
• Utilize electronic systems and dashboards to track virtual care
tasks, assignments, and completion status, ensuring timely
response and resolution.
• Monitor incoming virtual care requests and worklists, prioritizing
patient needs based on acuity, urgency, and resource availability.
IMPLEMENTATION:
• Determines care priorities, provides attentive reassurance and
creates a healing environment based on changing and unique
patient needs.
• Anticipates patient problems and adapts by setting priorities and
communicating changes in status in an encouraging manner.
• Virtually engages in mutual problem solving with the
interdisciplinary health care team when initiating patient care and
serves as patient advocate.
Credentials and Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Science of Nursing In lieu of Bachelors, an Associate's degree in Nursing plus 2 year of relevant experience may be considered Preferred Education-Master's Degree Registered Nurse (RN) RN-Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of FL, or a valid Multi-State privilege to practice in FL (must declare FL as primary State of residence within 30 days from date of hire if licensed in another eNLC compact state with multi-state privileges) Basic Life Support (BLS)
Minimum Requirement:
5 Years of RN experience Basic Life Support (BLS) Technological experience with EHR, zoom, and various virtual platforms.
