Virtual/Systems Architect will be responsible for the assessment, design and build out of a new virtual and server infrastructure. The engineer will be responsible for implementing windows 2003, 2008, Linux and the new VMware 4 & 5 infrastructure.Virtual/Systems Architect will be part of a team responsible for assessing, configuringVirtual/Systems Architect will be part of a team responsible for assessing, configuring, designing and deploying vast amount of virtual and physical servers across multiple domains and data centers. Experience in Linux, Windows 2003 and 2008 operating systems. Duties will include providing recommendations for upgrades and new implementation of virtual and physical infrastructure. Plan, design, implement Windows 2003 and 2008 Servers, migrations of physical to virtual environment across multiple
data centers. Build out co-location server farms, Microsoft clusters configurations, rack configuration, and High availability design and implementation.
