This is a full-time, nine-month, time-limited, non-tenure-accruing position. The successful candidate will contribute to the Department’s research enterprise by conducting high quality research and preparing manuscripts for publication in leading economics journals. Candidates from all subfields of macroeconomics will be considered and are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will also contribute to the Department of Economics’ vibrant undergraduate and graduate programs. The Department currently offer an undergraduate major, undergraduate minor, 4+1 BA/MA program, and Ph.D. program. This position will contribute to the undergraduate and master’s programs. UF is the state’s oldest, largest, and most comprehensive land grant university with an enrollment of over 50,000 students and was ranked 7thin the country among public universities (US News and World Report 2025 rankings), and 1stamong public institutions in the Wall Street Journal 2023 survey.
