The Department of Physics at Hobart and William Smith Colleges invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor to begin August 1, 2025. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible, one-year position with a teaching load of five or six courses. The salary range for this position is $46,036 - $63,499. Candidates with a Ph.D. in physics or its equivalent are strongly preferred, but A.B.D. will be considered. We seek a physicist with a genuine interest in teaching and liberal arts education. We are open to all research areas.
