The Visiting Researcher will conduct research on tumor immunology with a focus on the discovery and development of T cell therapy for cancer, including tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes and gene-engineered T cells. Interdisciplinary and translational approaches are encouraged.
Among the key duties for this position are the following:
Conducts multidisciplinary research in the area of tumor immunology and cancer immunotherapy with a focus on the discovery and development of T cell therapy for cancer, including tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes and gene-engineered T cells. Prepares written reports of the research experiments. Prepares grant proposals based on the research conducted. Gives oral presentations of the research. Understands and adheres to Rutgers’ compliance standards as they appear in RBHS’s Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct, and Conflict of Interest Policy. Understands, demonstrates, and models the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey core values. Performs other related duties as assigned.
