Position: Security Officer
Location: Visitor Center, Basking Ridge, NJ
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
About the Role:
We are looking for a professional and attentive Security Officer to join our team at the Visitor Center in Basking Ridge. The ideal candidate will ensure a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property by performing regular patrols, monitoring checkpoints, and managing entry and exit procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Interior Walking Tours: Conduct regular patrols of the facility to ensure all areas are secure and identify any potential safety or security concerns. Checkpoint Check-Ins: Monitor designated checkpoints, report irregularities, and ensure compliance with security protocols. Coordinate Entry and Exit: Manage visitor and employee access to the facility, verify credentials, and provide clear guidance for entry and exit procedures. Incident Response: Address any security concerns or incidents promptly and professionally. Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and checkpoint checks.Qualifications:
Prior experience in security or a related field is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and ability to remain vigilant during shifts. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable and punctual, with a professional appearance. Ability to walk or stand for extended periods during shifts. Must pass a background check and meet any licensing requirements.What We Offer:
