Contract Type Classified Hourly If other, please specify Recruitment Type Open Position Details General Statement Museum of the Rockies (MOR) invites all people to discover natural science and cultural history. The museum’s exhibits, collections, programs, and research create a community resource that brings the world to Montana and shares the Northern Rockies with the world. Duties and Responsibilities Greet, direct, assist and answer questions by visitors. Knowledgeable in all museum operations, programing and events. Provide excellent customer service both in person and over the phone. Accurately process cash, debit, credit and check transactions using Versia the museums point of sale system. Interact with customers. Balance cash registers at the end of day by running daily sales reports and counting contents of the register drawer. Assist ticketed visitors with seating in the various theaters. Host and run shows in the Hager Auditorium and Taylor Planetarium when needed. Make announcements over the museums PA system regarding upcoming shows, events, programming and closing reminders. Required Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills High School Diploma. Interpersonal Communication Skills. Basic computer Skills.
