Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Visual Arts Coordinator (Gallery Coordinator) for Mason Gross School of the Arts (MGSA). This position will report directly to the Department Chair of Art & Design Department.
Among the key duties of the position are the following: Manages the daily organization, facilitation, implementation of all exhibition activity throughout the department. Works closely with the technical staff, office staff, and faculty to achieve these manifestations that make art and design accessible to audiences. Maintains gallery budget and prepares purchasing requisitions and invoice expenses. Manages hourly wage employees and student workers. Manages development, design and administration of the gallery website. Coordinates effective and efficient seamless operation and interactions between the faculty, other technicians, administrators and/or students.
