JOB SUMMARY
The Visual Content Creator is responsible for assisting with the development, design and delivery of communications that support the brand, mission and strategic direction of the business by developing and executing visually compelling materials for internal and external communications channels.
Collaboratively works with departments, leaders, and employees to ensure consistent messaging and effective communications. This role requires a strong understanding of design principles and current design trends.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops clear and engaging content for internal and external communication channels such as, intranet, website, social media, events, etc.
Serves as a graphic design expert, conceptualizing designs, creating mockups, and producing final artwork which meets the brand guidelines.
Selects images and assists with taking and editing photos.
Supports writing and editing needs for the organization's internal communications and strategic direction, and helps maintain the intranet site.
Other duties as assigned or requested.
EXPERIENCE
Required
3 years of experience in Graphic Design
Preferred
2 years of experience in Digital Communications
2 years of experience in Corporate Communications
SKILLS
Proficiency in industry-standard design software is essential.
Experience with writing, editing, and proofreading.
Knowledge of traditional and digital communications best practices. Excellent communication, multitasking, and interpersonal skills.
Has a charismatic and positive work ethic, inspires others, and models the organization's core behaviors.
Has a strong passion for learning and developing their communication skillsets.
EDUCATION
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing or related field or relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of bachelor's degree.
