Summary About the position: This position will be assigned to Marketing Dept at Moody AFB, GA.. Responsibilities Work under the guidance and direction of the Marketing Director. Works with marketing team, key squadron and Air Force personnel in the design and creation of high quality marketing materials such as charts, graphs, posters, flyers, brochures, calendars, logos, Tshirts, books, newsletters, and PowerPoint presentations. Must be able to produce materials from concept to delivery. Use a variety of computer software such as Adobe Design Suite and Microsoft Office to create and design materials for advertising and marketing via print, electronic and online media. Functions as a design, layout and editorial specialist. Writes and promotes articles about Force Support ptograms and events. Assists with maintenance of the brand. Manage appropriate vendor relationships including, but not limited to, publication, photographer, printing and literature distnoution. Maintain current and historical files on all marketing and advertising literature, graphics, advertisements and images. Produce all levels of graphic materials for use by FSS facilities including maintenance and use of Services, FSS and USAF logos. Stays abreast of industry trends and all applicable technologies. Manages transfer of files. Assists in conducting qualitative market research includi.µg, but not limited to, surveys and focus groups. Assists Marketing Director in developing communication strategies to determine the most effective and efficient method of reaching the target market. Plan and facilitate marketing campaigns designed to enhance participation in programs and special events within Force Support activities. Attends major FSS events and provides constructive marketing feedback to activity managers. Utilizes design expertise to manage delivery of materials on time and to the standards of the squadron. Updates marquees, websites and social media accounts as needed. Ensure funds are available prior to purchasing items. Track supplies and maintain purchase files. Responsible for ordering supplies and equipment and tracking purchases until received. Must maintain training and files related to the Government Purchase Card. May conduct squadron tours, process marketing requests, conduct mrketing briefs, on site visits to Force Support facilities and attend marketin?? meetin??s. Qualifying Experience: Must have experience in graphic design and experience working with layout and photo editing programs. Hands-on experience on inhouse creation of literature, advertising, posters, brochures, newspaper print, mass newsletter creation, PowerPoint presentations and web. Expected to be versatile and proficient in a wide variety of software applications, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Design Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design and Adobe Acrobat). A Bachelor's in Fine Arts Design or related field is desirable, but not required. Experience with digital photography and videography is desirable. Experience working with commercial printers is desirable. Knowledge of proper grammar, spelling, punctuation and proofreading skills are required. Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment that is deadline oriented. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while remaining on schedule and organized. Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Must possess skill in working and dealing with customers and the general public. Must be able to read, write and speak English. May be required to work days, nights, weekends and holidays. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI). This position does not allow for education substitution. FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying. Additional Information Individual must fully meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
