Visual Merchandiser (PT/Contract - Walmart)
Overview Job Title: Visual Merchandiser Status: Part-Time/Contract - limited hours/project based Pay rate: $18-20/hour. Note that this range is representative of earning potential and actual pay will be based on skills, experience, and/or geographic location Position Summary: Winston is seeking fashionable, passionate, and energetic Visual Merchandisers with experience in merchandising apparel, accessories, and footwear. As part of our team, you’ll be responsible for high-level in-store execution following planograms, sizing, stocking, and relationship building. Please note: This role may also include temporary coverage assignments for a set period, allowing for additional support during peak times and project launches. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Execute merchandising strategies, style mannequins, and maintain visual standards for designated sections within the store Partner with store management to align on project goals, attend store meetings, and provide feedback on in-store trends Dedication to building brands and enhancing in-store presentations, bringing stories to life through visual merchandising Clearly communicate with store personnel and submit accurate reports as needed. Team members are required to use a smartphone (Android OS 8.0+ or Apple iOS 8.0+) for reporting and capturing images of products and displays. Temporary Coverage: Support other stores or projects with temporary coverage for short-term assignments, as needed Qualifications Required Skills & Experience: 1-3 years of experience in retail or merchandising for apparel, footwear, or accessories Mannequin dressing experience (preferred) Personable demeanor, reliability, and a passion for retail merchandising Adaptable, flexible, and dependable for various tasks Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand throughout shifts Must have a smartphone for app-based reporting At Winston, we are ALL IN!
