Vivarium Technician
Job Title: Vivarium Technician Job Description Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Conduct clinical observations, monitor food consumptions, record body weights, collect urine, administer anesthesia, manage mating procedures, perform blood draws, administer doses, restrain animals, conduct euthanasia, place catheters, feed and remove food from laboratory animals. Administer test and control articles or other substances (i.e., medications) to animals by various routes of administration. Observe and record all physical signs of animal health. Assist with clinical observation, necropsies, and other technical procedures. Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the laboratory space. Maintain timely and accurate documentation of task completion. Work Environment Our Client’s dedicated, state-of-the-art GMP manufacturing facility will support our biologics pipeline and candidates advancing into clinical development. The facility will have an initial production capacity of 1000L with additional room for expansion. The cleanroom space features state-of-the-art construction materials and utilizes single-use production systems. The clinical production space is designed to operate as a multi-product facility to support Our Client’s robust pipeline of first-in-class immunotherapy-based product candidates. The manufacturing capabilities provide greater control and flexibility in scheduling and prioritization, assurance of quality, and capital efficiency to advance a growing pipeline of product candidates.
