Job Description

As a VLSI intern, you will gain exposure to the entire VLSI design process, including system integration, circuit design, and verification.  Your responsibility will include all aspects of ASIC verification. You will benefit from the experience of a highly qualified ASIC team. Strong communication, time-management, and organizational skills are also essential.

Responsibilities:

Analyze the specification to learn about the designWork closely with architecture and RTL designers on verifying the functionality correctness of the designDevelop test cases and test plansImplementing test benches, generating directed/constrained random testsRunning and triaging regressions, tracking bugsAssisting in verification flows, automation scripts and regressionsCollaborates and communicates with management regarding design status, project progress, and issue resolution

Education and Experience Required:

Pursuing Bachelor's degree (Electrical Engineering, Computer engineering or equivalent)

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience or understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals, VLSI principles, digital logic, and computer architecture.Knowledge of object-oriented programming fundamentals is a must, Python skills will be a plusKnowledge of hardware description language (Verilog or VHDL), electronic design automation (EDA), and/or FPGA tools.Coursework in VLSI design or VLSI concepts. Good written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. USD Hourly: $27.50 - $33.25
