Job Title: VMware Administrator
Location: Oklahoma City (Preferred) | Remote Option Available
**Job Description:**
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ VMware/vCenter Administration – Manage and optimize VMware environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
+ Operational Support & Incident Management – Track down resource owners, assist in operational handoffs, and handle incidents until transition.
+ Monitoring & Reporting – Utilize vRealize Operations (vROps) for performance monitoring, cost/license savings reports, and infrastructure right-sizing.
+ Automation & Orchestration – Identify opportunities for automation and implement improvements.
+ Security Implementation – Apply security best practices to VMware environments.
+ Documentation & Technical Writing – Develop and maintain documentation on processes, standards, and best practices.
+ Migration Support – Assist with upcoming infrastructure migrations.
**Required Skills & Experience:**
+ VMware Administration (8+ years) – Strong experience managing VMware environments.
+ VMware/vCenter (5+ years) – Hands-on expertise in vCenter management.
+ vRealize/Aria Suite (Preferred) – Experience with vROps and other VMware management tools.
+ Incident Management & Troubleshooting – Ability to diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues efficiently.
+ Performance Optimization & Cost Savings – Experience in identifying over-provisioned resources and optimizing usage.
+ Automation & Orchestration – Familiarity with scripting and automation tools.
+ Technical Documentation – Ability to create clear and concise process documentation.
