Primary Purpose - Onsite in Millsboro, DE

Responsible for managing and implementing enterprise-wide virtual environments to support critical data, network and application infrastructure. 

Major Duties & Responsibilities

Install, configure and manage VMware vSphere. Maintain virtualized architecture using vCenter.  Manage the Cisco unified computing system (UCS) administration. Install/Provision all UCS domain components including fabric interconnects, chassis, blades, service profiles, pools, policies, templates and firmware. Develop and deploy customized VMware solutions, Virtualizing Windows and Linux servers and connecting them to Mountaire's infrastructure.  Troubleshoot and resolve VMware environment issues. Manage storage allocation, space and replication strategies. Build good relations with team members and customers. Protect company assets; promote a culture of safety.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. 5+ years' experience in Microsoft Windows Server Administration to include Server 2012, 2016 and 2019 operating systems. 3+ years' experience in virtual machine (VM) template design and leveraging vCenter Operations Manager to its right size, virtual servers. 3+ years' experience with server consolidation/virtualization for hardware reduction and site migrations via virtual to virtual (V2V) and physical to virtual (P2V). 3+ years' experience installing/provisioning all UCS domain components including fabric interconnects, chassis, blades, service profiles, pools, policies, templates and firmware. VMware certifications preferred in Data Center Virtualization, VMware Certified Professional (VCP) and/or VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP Design or VCAP Deploy). Project management skills. Cisco unified computing system (UCS) administration. #M2
