Location: This region will include travel to cities including but not limited to: Pasadena, Glendale, and Alhambra.
Starting Rate: $24.52/Hour

As a Vocational Specialist, you are the ultimate connector. With the support of management, you work through the discovery process to better understand ideal conditions that will set your job seeker up for success and capitalize on their talents. As a team member, you will develop customized job search strategies with detailed timelines and create buy-in and confidence with your job seeker to move through the process methodically. You are excited when the offer comes and support them throughout the onboarding process to ensure their success.
Simultaneously, you seek out opportunities in the community to bring people together and build mutually beneficial relationships. Your curiosity and strong business acumen put small business leaders at ease as you inquire to understand better their business needs and the challenges they face, generating opportunities for your job seekers.

What you bring with you
● Your life experience will ensure your success; Typically requires 1-2 years experience in business sector or vocational rehabilitation; or equivalent combination of training, education and experience to perform the job successfully
● Reliable transportation with insurance and vehicle registration and the ability to travel in Southern California
● Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Applications
● A driving record in compliance with Transportation Safety Standards
● The ability to pass post-offer medical examination and test for tuberculosis
● Ability to obtain fingerprint clearance and other program requirements per our client
● Ability to pass all drug testing required by ESSC
