Provide on-site and off-site training to support clients in skill development, career planning, and employment retentionDevelop and maintain relationships with local employers to create job opportunitiesConduct job site analyses and implement appropriate accommodationsFacilitate skill development activities in vocational, social, and independent living areasCreate individualized service plans and monitor client progressServe as a liaison between employers, clients, and co-workersCoordinate work-based learning experiences and manage related documentationProvide transportation for clients to support their service plan goalsImplement crisis intervention strategies when neededMaintain accurate and timely documentation of all services providedEducation and/or Experience Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent certificate requiredAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferredExperience in rehabilitation, employment services, case management, or social services preferredAdditional Qualifications:
Must successfully complete background check including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect and fingerprint checkMust have current driver's license, acceptable driving record and current auto insuranceStrong computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel, and internet platforms requiredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMust complete required training upon hirePhysical requirements: Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionallyMust have reliable transportationKeywords: vocational rehabilitation, job coach, employment specialist, disability services, career counseling, job training, workforce development, vocational training, employment support, career development
