**Job Description** **We are looking for a Voice/ Telecom Engineer with solid Avaya experience. Any Nortel is a huge plus!** We are looking for experienced Voice Engineer o join our technology-based program supporting a key government customer. This program will deliver engineering services for network infrastructure as well as sophisticated enterprise computing infrastructure including end-point devices, data center hosted servers, multi-Cloud services as well as virtualized applications, and storage systems. Enterprise Computing Engineering services include modern application technology including containerized solutions with orchestrated workflow that function both on customer premise, and via remote Cloud services. Network infrastructure engineering services are comprised of core infrastructure, voice and video engineering, field engineering, application management and development for networks, network analytics, firewalls, network access controls and bandwidth service delivery. **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** We are looking for experienced Voice Engineers to join our technology-based program supporting a key Government customer. A Bachelor s or Master s degrees in computer science are preferred with eleven (11 ) year s relevant experience and education with the following skillsets: Avaya certified specialist who can provide hands-on and technical expertise to close knowledge-based gaps of Avaya equipment either directly in the lab with our technical team members and/or electronically. Focusing on the Avaya Session Manager and Communications Manager is key components. Additional assistance to include but not limited to crafting a checklist of equipment, checklist for testing for operability and functionality to reflect a hybrid configuration would be highly beneficial, as well. Below is a list of required technical equipment the contractor should have expertise with, and desired areas of ability the SME would be responsible with maintaining functionality. Required skills and proven experience in the following areas: + Experience as a System Manager + Experience as a Session Manager + Experience as a Communication Manager + Experience working with Media Server + Experience working with CentOS Linux web and DNS server + Experience working with One-X VoIP phones **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + Ability to manage switching and routing devices for network interconnectivity + Ability to manage firewalls to allow for remote access to network **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $140690 - $239140 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
