Hours of Operation: 8:30am - 5:00pm

The Volunteer Coordinator will contribute to the strategic planning and development of a comprehensive volunteer services program to include recruitment, assessment, training, engagement and supervision of volunteers to support patients, families, clients and the organization.The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for all operations and activities to include screening, training, assigning, and monitoring within the assigned service area.

 

Qualifications

 

Education/Regulatory Requirements:Requires a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.Skills:Requires 1 - 3 years of related experience in recruiting, supervision, volunteers, education, healthcare, and/or social services.Demonstrated experience with oral and written communication which includes public speaking and teaching.Demonstrated computer competency in office products.Professional Requirements:Maintain an active drivers license and reliable means of transportation.Willing to travel within Palm Beach and Broward counties as needed.Ability to work flexible hours to include evenings and weekends as needed.
