CentraCare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Volunteer Program Specialist in Hospice! In this role, you will be responsible for the assignment, coordination and supervision of all volunteer activities, ensuring a high level of care and support for our patients and families. The Volunteer Program Specialist will play a key role in recruiting, screening, training and evaluating volunteers, while also providing ongoing education and support to ensure volunteers are equipped for their important work.

Schedule

Full-time | 80 hours every two weeks | Hybrid schedule  Monday – Friday | 8:00 am – 4:30 pm  Occasional evening or weekend help needed to represent hospice and recruit volunteers at community expos or other events 

Pay and Benefits

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED  Post-secondary degree in Nursing, Human Services, Medical Social Services or other related field   Valid Minnesota driver’s license with a driving record in good standing  Reliable transportation with the minimum amount of insurance liability coverage required per CentraCare’s policy Documented experience with volunteers and demonstrated skills in interpersonal communications, public relations and human relations
