JOB SUMMARY
\nThe Coordinator of Volunteer Services is responsible for the coordination and implementation of defined volunteer programs and activities, to include recruiting, orienting and scheduling volunteers.
\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE
\n\nConsults with management, administrators and staff to regulate organization needs for various volunteer services.\nCoordinates and executes volunteer recruitment activities in support of specified program priorities.\nSchedules and facilitates volunteer meetings and provides special instructions and orientation for volunteers.\nServes as liaison between administration, staff and volunteers. Coordinates quarterly volunteer recognition.\nMaintains a database of volunteers and time logs of volunteer activities in accordance with all regulatory requirements.\nPrepares and provides post-activity evaluation data, as appropriate; prepares reports and maintains files and documentation.\n\nKEY SUCCESS FACTORS
\n\nKnowledge of volunteer programs.\nProven verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills to interact with a wide range of constituencies.\nProven organizational and presentation skills.\nSkilled in the use of personal computers and related software applications.\nAbility to coordinate and organize meetings and special events.\nAbility to establish and maintain effective collaborative relationships.\nAbility to prepare and maintain written reports.\n\nBENEFITS

\n\nEDUCATION - Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification\nEXPERIENCE - 1 Year of Experience\n
