As a Volunteer Van Driver, at New River Valley Community Services, you will play a vital role in supporting the transportation needs of our community members, including seniors and individuals with disabilities accessing our services.You would be responsible for transporting authorized persons in a safe, courteous, and efficient manner according to NRVCS' agency-wide and departmental policies and procedures. 

 

Education/Experience Required:

Thorough knowledge of vehicle operation Knowledge of state and local traffic regulations Ability to effectively and accurately communicate both orally and in writing required. Excellent customer relations skills required Possession of a valid Commercial Virginia Driver's license and acceptable driving record required Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma, and/or considerable experience in vehicle operations.
