is seeking a strategic and client-focused VP, Account Management and Customer Experience to join our team. In this overlay sales and account management role, you will be responsible for driving the adoption and integration of our proprietary AI data tool through internal account teams. Your primary client will be the internal Edelman account teams, ensuring they are equipped to present, sell, and successfully implement the AI tool for their external clients. You will also provide strategic guidance on how the proprietary tool can complement third-party AI solutions to deliver exceptional results for clients.ResponsibilitiesInternal Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal Edelman account teams, building strong relationships and acting as a trusted advisor. Collaborate with account teams to understand their external clients’ needs and position the proprietary AI data tool as a solution that adds value. Train and enable account teams to effectively present the tool’s value proposition and identify opportunities to integrate it into client workflows.Sales Enablement: Partner with account teams throughout the sales cycle to support their efforts in selling the AI tool to external clients. Develop tailored sales materials, presentations, and demonstrations that highlight the tool’s capabilities and how it complements third-party AI solutions. Provide strategic guidance on aligning the AI tool’s features with external client objectives.Adoption and Implementation: Work closely with account teams to ensure the successful adoption and integration of the proprietary AI tool by external clients. Provide ongoing support to internal teams, troubleshooting issues, addressing concerns, and identifying opportunities for optimization. Guide internal teams on how to leverage third-party AI tools alongside the proprietary tool for enhanced client outcomes.AI Solutions Expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of the proprietary AI tool, its capabilities, and potential use cases for a wide range of industries and clients. Stay informed about emerging third-party AI tools and technologies, advising account teams on how to create a complementary ecosystem for their clients.Collaboration and Feedback: Act as the bridge between internal account teams, external client needs, and product development, providing feedback to enhance the tool’s features and usability. Work closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to align strategies and develop resources that support account team success.Metrics and Reporting: Track and report on internal adoption, external client sales, and the impact of the AI tool on client outcomes. Use data-driven insights to refine internal enablement strategies and drive better results for account teams and their clients.
Basic Qualifications5+ years of experience in sales enablement, account management, or a similar role, ideally in a SaaS, technology, or data solutions environment.Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.Preferred QualificationsSales and Account Management Experience: Proven ability to support indirect sales models by equipping and empowering internal teams to drive client adoption.AI and Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of AI technologies, data analytics, and their applications in business. Experience working with proprietary tools and integrating third-party AI solutions; familiarity with tools like Tableau, Power BI, or machine learning models is a plus.Client-Centric Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and influence internal teams and stakeholders. Ability to understand complex client needs and provide strategic recommendations that align with available solutions.Organizational and Analytical Abilities: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple internal relationships and priorities effectively. Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to inform decisions and improve processes.$105,000 - $175,000 a yearAn employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
