Job Description

Z Modular, a division of Zekelman Industries, seeks a VP, Acquisitions. Reporting to the President, the VP Acquisitions is a key leader in the organization’s strategic growth plan. This leader is responsible for sourcing, due diligence and execution of all acquisitions and dispositions.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Planning for development of multi-family projects, including investment analysis, pro-forma modeling, investment strategies and public grants, public incentives, and tax creditsFull P&L responsibility for project planning, permitting, entitlements, third party reports, site capacity studies, market and financial analysis, and construction to develop or redevelop real estateResponsible for the creation and executive of pre-construction timelineIdentification, feasibility analysis and negotiation of real estate acquisitions and potential development sitesLead initiatives and engagement with city officials, attorneys, architects, engineers, and others to outline projects related to public entitlement, site permits, acquisition due diligence and closing activities

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Demonstrated ability across all phases of multi-family developments – zoning and entitlements, design overview, construction management, financing, asset management, investment sales and manufacturing operationsMinimum of 5-7 years of experience preferably within the multifamily industry in a broad array of development skills including public finance and incentives, permitting, design, construction, finance and leasingMust possess strong financial skills and demonstrated ability to analyze and implement complex financial models and evaluation of corresponding risksHighly effective communication and presentation skills along with robust interpersonal skills, high emotional intelligence and political acumenAn exceptional capacity for managing, developing and leading peopleAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining strong attention to detail Job Footer (US)
