Lead our creative strategy and visual identity to elevate our brand and engage our target audience Support and optimize creative and brand talent with internal agency approach Drive the development of compelling brand, design, and content that elevates our value proposition and positions Carta as the purpose-built platform for private capital, connecting founders, venture and private equity Develop a best-in-class comprehensive brand and creative vision and strategy that aligns with business goals and drives brand awareness in market Lead, mentor, develop and grow a talented team of designers, artists, copywriters, content creators, brand marketers, and web professionals fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration Establish and maintain a strong brand identity across all marketing channels, ensuring consistency in messaging and design Oversee the creation of high-quality, engaging platform content and design that resonates with target audiences and helps achieves marketing objectives Collaborate with product and UX teams to ensure all design and creative elements create an optimal experience across our platforms Keep up-to-date with customer insights, competitive landscape, and industry trends to inform creative direction and strategy Analyze the impact of creative campaigns, leveraging data and analytics to maximize ROI Develop innovative and creative marketing plans for various product and audiences, through strategic thinking and deep understanding of a complex business Determine best mix of internal creative resources and external agency/contractor work The Team You'll Work WithYou’ll be joining the Carta Marketing team. We infuse the customer in everything we design, define and deliver and reflect the inspiration and ambition of our customers in the work we do.
Our VP, Brand and Creative will report directly into our CMO, and will oversee a talented group of designers, copywriters, content creators, brand marketers, and web marketers. This team puts Carta’s vision into words and emotions and defines the strategy and execution for how we share that with the world.
About YouWe need a seasoned leader to bring vision, strategy and direction to our creative teams. This position could be a good fit if you have:
Experience leading diverse creative teams including designers, copywriters, content creators, brand marketers, and web marketers A passion for team building and development Proven experience overseeing the development and execution of successful marketing campaigns that drive engagement and conversions A passion for category creation, and an excitement for our mission to create more owners Strong portfolio of work demonstrating creativity, versatility, and a deep understanding of branding and design principles Strong communication and presentation skills, the ability to craft a clear narrative, and a proven ability to influence stakeholders Proficiency in design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc) and a mastery of marketing platforms and trends Ability to partner cross-functionally and externally, managing multiple teams and projects simultaneously Saas or financial services experience preferred Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field SalaryCarta’s compensation package includes a market competitive salary, equity for all full time roles, exceptional benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans. Our minimum cash compensation (salary + commission if applicable) range for this role is:
$311,000 - $415,000 in San Francisco, CA and New York, NYFinal offers may vary from the amount listed based on geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other factors.
