Main Line Health’s vision for cancer is to establish clinical and research programs that provide the full continuum of state-of-the art care in an integrated, multi-disciplinary and patient centric manner. The Vice President (VP) will have overall responsibility for the successful development and implementation of detailed business plans defining the strategic, programmatic and operational aspects of the cancer service line across MLH and coordinating activities across its four hospitals, satellites and affiliates.Successful leadership and oversight of the cancer service line requires an individual who can effectively work with key physicians and hospital leadership to develop and implement annual and long-term strategic, operational, and financial goals in cancer services. The position entails building and strengthening existing collaborations with both internal and external constituents as well a meeting the goals for regional growth and profitability of the service line.
The VP will be responsible for promoting clinical and research collaboration across organization boundaries and foster greater multidisciplinary care. In this highly matrixed organizational structure, the VP will have an indirect reporting relationship to the medical directors of the cancer service line and close working relationship with division chiefs, COO, hospital presidents, executive directors and other MLH senior leaders. The VP will also have operational oversight over the directors and managers of MLH owned services in Radiation Oncology, Medical Oncology, and Genetic Counseling. The VP will have indirect oversight and/or collaboration with other services such as imaging (breast centers), pathology, laboratory, surgery, and Main Line Health Care (MLHC) physician practices

Experience:
• 7 to 10 years of management experience in a complex integrated health system. Cancer service line or cancer hospital experience required.
Education:
Bachelor of Science degree required, Masters degree in business or a health related field strongly preferred.
