DescriptionEmory's Chief Public Health Informatics Officer and Vice President of Population Health Informatics collaborates across Emory teams and partners to advance Emory's digital strategy for innovation in public health and population health informatics as it relates to:
- Advancement of public health technology to prevent disease and protect the publics health
- Public health informatics workforce development
- Public health informatics research
- Contribution to governmental policy and efforts related to health care and public health data
- Application of technology to protect and manage the health care needs of populations
- Use of informatics to support transformation of health care through value-based care, working to close care gaps, prevent illness and improve overall community health
