Against that backdrop, we are seeking an accomplished technology executive to join our team as Vice President, Clinical Practice Technology for Humana’s Primary Care Organization (PCO). The PCO, which consists of CenterWell Senior Primary Care and Conviva, is the nation’s largest senior-focused, value-based primary care provider. This is a newly-created role in which you will be directly responsible for building, growing, and maintaining the complete tech stack that supports the PCO’s network of nearly 350 clinics across its 15-state operating footprint. At a high level, your responsibilities will include developing and implementing strategic technology plans that are aligned to segment and business strategy. You will set the PCO vision for product strategy and will own a portfolio of operational, strategic, and improvement initiatives, including the transformation and implementation of new practice technology (EMR). You will also oversee the development lifecycle of products that meet specific customer needs and achieve cost and success outcomes. Your work will directly impact the successful delivery of the multi-year Project Ram transformation project and will influence enterprise-wide change at the senior most level within the company.. The VP, Clinical Practice Technology will lead a multi-level organization of roughly 90 associates, with two direct reports. This position can be located anywhere within the lower 48 states. **Additional Key Responsibilities** + Lead initiatives to analyze complex business problems and issues using internal and external data + Monitor efficacy of products and use customer and business partner feedback to ensure products are meeting customer needs across each customer segmentation, adjusting products over time to continue to achieve the desired outcomes. + Apply expertise or identify subject matter experts to support multi-functional efforts to identify, evaluate, and recommend product and technology solutions based on strategic imperatives and business goals. + Oversee significant change management (people, process, and technology) within the PCO as we continue to mature as an organization. + Lead multidisciplinary meetings to drive to alignment and results. + Collaborate internally to deliver consistent messages across all BPO’s and internal. + Oversee development and implementation of policies and procedures within all work streams, ensuring that they align with corporate vision. + Build, develop, and maintain a high-performance team that includes clear roles/responsibilities, training and quality to monitor and improve BPO and internal performance. + Align team processes to add value and support of overall organizational goals or strategy and provide on-going oversight and monitoring of team performance to well-defined metrics. **Use your skills to make an impact** **Key Candidate Qualifications** In general terms, the ideal candidate will have extensive and progressive operational experience (typically 15+ years), including several years in a leadership role in the managed care or provider spaces. This should include current or recent experience providing technical and operational support for a multi-state network of primary care clinics or similar healthcare facilities. He/she will have a solid track record of driving significant transformation in back-office services, including technology enablement, and driving meaningful adoption for products/programs that achieved clinical and financial outcomes. Finally, the ideal candidate will be a strong leader of people with proven success in expanding and elevating the capabilities and performance of an already highly functioning team. In addition to the above, the following professional qualifications and personal attributes are also sought: + Both quantitative and qualitative analysis experience, with the ability to drive to trend identification and actionable insights + Experience overseeing a multi-site EMR implementation, as well as implementation and scaling of AI, LLM, and RPA solutions + Strong understanding of budgets and financial responsibilities - including development of business case and leading initiatives that have positive financial outcomes. + Excellent oral and written communications skills, including the polish, poise, and executive presence that will ensure effective interaction with senior and executive level audiences, including translating complex technical metrics and concepts into action with non-technical audiences. + Proven expertise in working on very large and complex assignments in a large, highly matrixed company, with proven ability to influence key stakeholders in such an environment and drive cross-functional teams to alignment amid ambiguity + Ability to adapt quickly and juggle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, including prioritizing and balancing multiple responsibilities and projects + Creative, articulate professional who can help introduce, develop and promote new business ideas that will enable us to meet customer needs more efficiently and effectively + Highly collaborative mindset and excellent relationship-building skills, including the ability to engage many diverse stakeholders and SMEs and win their co-ownership in the outcome + Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree will be a strong plus, as will a Six Sigma, Lean (or other quality program) background **Scheduled Weekly Hours** 40 Application Deadline: 03-02-2025 **About us** About CenterWell Senior Primary Care: CenterWell Senior Primary Care provides proactive, preventive care to seniors, including wellness visits, physical exams, chronic condition management, screenings, minor injury treatment and more.
